After a long trip in your RV, you likely want to rest and relax in the comfort of your own home. However, before you can kick your feet up and unwind, you’ll need to ensure your RV is clean. For tips on how to get your RV looking pristine efficiently, check out our handy cleaning tips below!
Organize
Your RV is likely to be pretty cluttered after your trip. To help you quickly organize your items and get everything back in its place, we recommend grabbing three bags to help you get your things in order.
The first bag should be for trash and other items that need to be thrown out. The second should be for any clothing or linens that need to be washed. Finally, use the third bag to round up any items that need to go back in the house. Everything left afterward can be placed back into their correct spots in your RV.
Clean
Now that everything is back in its place, you have free range to start cleaning and disinfecting high-traffic areas.
For example, you’ll want to give both your kitchen and bathroom a thorough cleaning to deter the appearance of mold or pests.
We also advise opening all of the doors and windows in your RV and allowing your rig to air out for an hour or two.
During this time, we recommend flushing and cleaning your RV’s water tanks before sealing your RV back up and placing it in your driveway or garage.
